An Introduction

Hi Everyone! My name is Kaelin and I am originally from Tampa, however I currently live in Seattle.

Education and Career:

My major is Health Sciences with a concentration in IT. This is my last class needed to graduate!

I currently work in software deployment for a nephrology company. I am fully remote, so with this flexibility I have also picked up a couple of part-time side hustles; I do contract work for other IT companies and on my lunch breaks I walk dogs. In other words, I have a very packed schedule haha.

My other professional experience includes working in sales and marketing for Hilton, lifeguarding at Disney, and being a patient care technician.

Fun Facts:

I have a very large dog. He is half Great Dane and half Great Pyrenees. His name is Olaf and I rescued him 4 years ago. He has since driven all over the United States with me and been the best boy ever.

I have moved about 40 times. Notable places include Seattle, Palm Springs CA, Barcelona Spain, Chicago IL, and all over Florida.

My favorite hobbies are broken up by season here. In the winter, I enjoy trying new restaurants, going for walks when its not raining, and hula hooping. In the summer, I like to paddle board, hike, and rollerblade.

Social Media and Blogging:

I have an interesting relationship with social media. I don't have Snapchat, FaceBook, or Twitter anymore. I barely use Instagram, in fact I removed all of my followers except my close friends, removed all my posts, and put it on private. I do this to keep some level of privacy. The only social media I use and have information on is LinkedIn, because despite how much I wish to remain private, LI is truly the best way to get new career opportunities in my field.

This is my first time creating a blog! (Unless you count Tumblr from back in 2010-2011 😂)

I do not read or have any interaction with other blogs. For me personally, I am not a fan of posting things on the internet for anyone to see. However, I do like that it allows other people a creative outlet if they enjoy blogging.
